Mozilla Hackthon At 91 Spring Board

A huge registrations were recieved for the event..people from across hyderabad haad registered to the event..finally all were waiting for the coniformation mails.. the final coniformation mails have been received..the day has finally come for the event  https://etherpad.mozilla.org/apphyd

then the day has finally came on sunday i.e;22-02-2015..all the mozillians and open source enthusiasts were present there by 10:00am..we reached the jayabheri silicon towers at hitech city..as there was huge members we 1st introduced ourselves and we all have got ready for to code on for the hackathon..

the event has been started and we recieved the dirctions & rules from our mozilla rep akshay tiwari.
the task were assigned to each of us and we all started working over it..the 1st app created by me and my team mate was a stop clock using html & css..the rest two have prepared the apps on general quiz and the hyderabad tourism app.as the event was going on few more guys have added to us..after 2hours of  hard work..we just had a little back for the relaxiation and we played memory game at that time..

after the break we were with introduced with the mozilla products,tools. then we are thaught about the open source and contributions made by mozilla to the open source..we were given a glance to the bugzilla . we even came to know about the current mozilla os products and the various firefox browsers.we were also taught about web maker tools.we also known about gaia,gecko,gonk in mozilla by another mozilla rep.after that we had our yummy delicious lunch break

 after the lunch break we are ready with energy recharged in our body.now we were asked to build the webpages using html and css.again both of our reps has helped us to solve the errors and bugs..after a long time we had done a webpage and  completed it.then we are thought about the MDN .there we have searched for the mainfest file and we used it and changed the code in that according to our requirments and tested our apps on the mozilla browser using the mozilla mobile os 2.2 simulator and succesfully done it. by that time without knowing to us only the time was has become 5:00pm in the evening and then we had packed our things and time to leave from the venue .so we again played a memory game for about 20 minutes and had a small photo shoot session.finally the event was completed

 

 

Through this hackathon we had lot of new connections and we had various people collabrating and done a wonderful event..various people who are new to mozilla had came to know about the various technologies present in the mozilla..they really had wonderful time and even we too had a wonderful time and learned some knowledge..finally we even had our goodies
